Honeycomb cake

Honeycomb cake:

For the caramel
2 cups sugar
2 cups water

16 oz butter
1 can of condensed milk
10 eggs
2 cups of flour
2 teaspoons of soda bicarbonate
1 teaspoon of vanilla

First make the caramel by gently heating the granulated sugar in a saucepan until the colour turns dark runny honey.Then pour 2 cups of hot water.mix and let cool.
Take a large roomy bowl,whisk in the butter,milk and eggs until soft.Next add in the sifted flour,soda bicarbonate and vanilla.Lastly,pour in the caramel into the mixture.When everything is thoroughly blended, pour batter into a baking tin and bake 40 minutes in 170 degree C oven.
